Newcastle, England

Hey everyone! Sorry about the BLOG delay. We're only about a month behind now! So this BLOG is from Newcastle where we hung out with Crazy John and his family for about 5 days. Fun times in the Newcastle! Saw lots of cool old castles along the coast (on the way up to Scotland) which was great, because we'd never seen anything like that before!! Also hung out in the town enjoying beers, burgers and watching all the people on hen's and buck's/stag's nights. Crazy people in crazy costumes! Had a fun night out at a cool club and met lots of fun Geordies. The highlight of our trip was definately visiting the New Hartley Working Man's Sports and Social Club! Woooohooooo! What a blast! Great cultural experience...thanks John. It was also lovely to catch up with John's family again (Jane, Margaret, John Snr., Graham, and to meet Catherine and little Georgia). Had a good night out at a yummy Indian restaurant and finished off the night with a few rounds of Hungry Hippos. Made a day trip to the lovely little town of Durham too, where we wandered around, and watching people paddle down the river in row boats. A day stepping back in time. Unfortunately we can't post any pics at the mo' because the computer is being naughty........so, we promise to send them when it's behaving. See ya soon! D & V
