Bangkok, Thailand

Here we are in Bangkok, Thiland. How are you all?
So we've arrived at the beginning of an early rainy season, but all is good. We spent 2 nights staying with a lovely Thai family (friends of friends') which was great and a wonderful intro. to Thailand. Bangkok is as hectic as ever and we're relieved to be out of it now, but we had a wicked time nonetheless. Here are some pics of our first few days. Enjoy!

The Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia

The next bunch of pictures are of the Great Ocean Road which is one of the roads stretching right along the coast to link Adelaide and Melbourne. We rented a car for 2 days and did the trip staying at a couple of small coastal towns along the way. Gorgeous scenery! V
These pictures don't do it justice. Honestly, this coastline was bloody amazing! Everything looked and felt like in a movie. My mouth was hanging open for most of the drive. D
Now we're in Melbourne. We've been hanging out in Fitzroy and now at the beach town of St Kilda. Flying out tonight to Thailand!
Hope you like the pics! For some reason we couldn't upload all the photos, so watch out for the next lot soon. love D & V xx

Adelaide, South Australia #1
Hi everyone!
Sorry for the delay in posting this next response. Busy times in Adelaide! So, we're reaching the end of our 10 day stay here. It's been great to catch up with Vanessa's friends and family. We had a "Japanese Reunion" night with a bunch of friends who have also lived in Japan and who are back in Adelaide now. The reunion was held at Vanessa's cousin's "yakitori" restaurant.....followed by the usual pubs/clubs after. Big night! We've also spent time with Vanessa's friends Tanya and Brett and have been for trips to the hills, beach, footy games with them. Lots of fun! We made a trip to Cleland Wildlife Park with Matt and Melissa to see lots of cute Aussie animals. Spent lovely times at the markets drooling over all the yummy treats there and taking in the atmosphere with Amelia and Gus. Had fun checking out a wildlife photography exhibit/vego restaurants/record shops with Luke and Carrie. Also got on the decks after a month at Noods place. Bev organised a fun dinner with a whole group of people who Vanessa hasn't seen for ages (Rory, Ly, Ciaran, Melinda and Pete) and was surprised to share a 30th birthday cake with Pete! She also kept us highly entertained during the "Australian Logie Awards"......("how embarrassing!!"). Had a lovely day with Gran, laughing about Vanessa's childhood days and scoffing lemon chessecake. Derek faced his fears at the Rodney Fox Shark Museum and Vanessa was voted loudest customer in the Lolly Shoppe.
We can't add all pictures this time (due to technical difficulties), but will add more soon. Hope you enjoy these ones! Love Vanessa & Derek xx
